I think this is sad. We have all these 'GALLERIES' that everyone wanted. But not a whole lot of artwork in them. I for one would love to see more new stuff on the front page. Dig deep into your files and desk drawers. Pull out your work from yester-year if you have to.We a great bunch of artist here. So show us your stuff.
Uumm. Not like that Hope.

Actually i think members have done a nice job of submitting new artwork.
Morgan's Betty Boop series
Pijon's 3D pictures
Ker's personal stuff
Hope's 3D and manips
Your manips and sketchs
a new image or two from me
Dragon's Faker friends
even Strick's Lemon Lass stuff
Give it time Taz. Maybe everyone is being selective about what they want in their galleries. I look at the new GM personal galleries as my own portfolio. Sure I'd like it to be full, but it doesn't mean that I'm just gonna throw any type of picture in it, whether I think it's good or not. Besides most everyone here has seen the stuff that everyone had at the old GM, so reposting them isn't really considered 'new' to them. That's why everyone should have taken advantage of the 'Transition period' and filled their galleries in one shot.
Then again remember we do have 2 new projects that everyone is probally working on...one with a specific posting date and the other without a album to post it in yet [ummm Force].
I like the way the new Mouse is running. New stuff every now and then plus some oldies but goodies every once in a while. Besides its always nice to see your own posts on the front page as long as possible. Right?

Everyone probably has noticed nothing new from me in awhile. I just finished penciling the cover redo me and Morgan are working on. He's in the process of coloring it. I love doing those. I'm also working on this IM pic that I've been coloring for a long time. It's actually a Gundam IronMan.
I do have a entry for the Draw/off but I'm thinking about redoing it in a different way.
I've just sorta had the Artist Blues, which we've all had. It's great to see work from you guys to motivate and inspire me. Oh, I've also had a couple ideas for a short comic or illustrated story, but since I'm in a cold mood, I wouldn't expect to see anything there, anytime soon.
I notice a few of you doing collabs, maybe that would be something I could sink my teeth in. If anyone is interested in doing a collab with me, that would be cool.

Your request has been answered Tazman. I've just uploaded an older piece from '04 which is one of the few characters I've been able to put up with a full bio on my own site.

I notice there's been a dry spell around here lately. I would assume that alot of you are posting to the other two sites and probably don't want to double post. I spose it's fair seeing as how I haven't put anything out. I do miss talking to Morgan and Star on msn once in awhile. I haven't forgotten about any of you, I know life gets busy and time for art gets pushed aside.
I was spending time messing with these two online text based games as I've commented on before. But I've stopped playing them, they didn't take up hours and hours, but they were distracting and I have lost interest. I can kinda feel the tingling sensation of art starting to crawl up my spine.
Star, I still would like to finish that project we were gonna do. I know your puter got messed up and you lost files, but I hope we can still work on it.
I will have my entry for the Draw/off. I'm gonna do Automan, if any of you remember that short lived series, it was like Tron.
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and I miss you guys.

I'll admit I too haven't been as active here as i would like. Mostly due to my PC problems but I still can drop a comment or two here and there or a thread post. While things in my personal lafe are looking up ; just moved into my house Saturday, wedding anniversary right around the corner, daughter's 3rd birthday plus a more stable work schedule...my artistic life has been on a decline. My Pc went on the blink every other week costing me loads and loads of irreplaceable files, my carpal tunnel has been so bad that i couldn't even hold a pencil for 5 weeks, it'll take me a lifetime to reload all my 3d files and to top all that off i blew about $400 worth of commision work due to lack of communication. But hey it'll always get better...I have been working on a coupla new projects in the meantime as well as re-opening some older forgotten ones [stay tuned]. So give me a few more weeks and Starchild will rise again!!!!!

Sorry to hear about those problems Star and congrats on the good stuff like the new home and daughter's B-day. Ya know, last year or whenever it was that my harddrive got corrupted and I lost all my work and everything I had accumulated art wise, it deflated my motivation and drive. I had put alot of work into some of those pieces, like the MOAP and coloring jobs. It just sucked the life outta me. So I understand what you are going through.
Still, it's nice to know that people are still alive and kicking. Now if I could just find out what happened to Morgan.

Well, I'm not sure if anyone reads my posts but I will post anyway. lol. I just scanned in about 20 pics that I found in my closet. Some I've shared before, but most I haven't. Now, these are about 2yrs to 6 yrs old, however, I still wanted to share them. Most are what I call "studies" where I drew them from catalogs, to get some practice in form, wrinkles, etc. A couple are original art and 3 are someone elses art that I duplicated. 2 are from Scott Cambells Danger Girl and one is from some pro artist. These aren't traced, but copies. I then went in with markers, Prismacolors, and that was mainly because I wanted to get some time on markers. I will not post them all in one day but try to spread them out. No comments are necessary, like I said, they are basically practice art. For those of you wishing to get better at drawing, it's a good way to get some pencil time, just open up a Sears catalog or something and draw what you see.

yeah we read yer posts chris. and i'm glad you finally got around to putting your galleries to use. i mean it didn't look too good that the driving force [so to speak] behind the new GM was the one to contribute the least. bravo.
