Pijon's IronMan IV: 'Reimagined' / TemporalDave Hey Mousers! I've been re-inspired by a couple of the other entrys for this Draw-Off - so I decided to rip them off by doing my own versions of their clever design ideas.
The first one I have ready to upload is a reworking of Pijon's option - The composite scrap-suit. I particular liked Pijster's asymmetrical balance as a visual, so my version here really just tries to take that action a little bit further.
I hope you like the sketch. Lemme know what ya think! |

I love it! Jeez, I feel like it's my birthday or something! You've really taken the idea and run with it and the results rank way high on the coolness meter! Great stuff and thanks, bud! ;-)

Excellent sketch Dave. I was confuse at first cuz it looks like Pijon's but then after reading the comments I figured it out. You did a good job with the face of Stark and the composite armor. I don't know if I'm crazy about the helmet, if it was his eyes covered on both sides, with his mouth revealed, that would look better to me, but still that's a design choice. Good work my man.

Pretty good. Clever mix of armor styles. I would have loved to seen you bring the helmet together and make it a truly functional head protection, but that takes nothing away from a very well sketched image.

Like the armor. Just not understanding the half mask thing.

What if he's half blind and the half mask covers his blind eye and helps him see? Nice interpetation of the original by LP.

Cheers for the comments guys. I'm particularly stoked that ya like it Pijster! As for the quarter mask, that's something I kept from Pijon's original because I thought it was a distinct visual idea personally - so didn't change it. I imagined that at this stage of the suit's reconstruction the broken mask section Tony IV is sporting is mostly ceremonial, for the symbolism factor. I was thinkin' that the mask's progressive completion serves as a nice parallel to character's search (seeing as the s...
